Policies

Hours   I charge by the session which is one hour. In some circumstances we may go a few minutes overtime.    

Appointments   Online counselling means we can accommodate your busy schedule.  Although I'll endeavor to give you a time that is convenient for you, it's best to book a few sessions in advance to ensure that the time is available and reserved for you.  ALL ENQUIRIES ARE CONFIDENTIAL AND PERSONAL.  Contact here

Cancellations   If you need to cancel a session, I appreciate 24 hour notice or the fee still applies.  I understand that sometimes situations come up at the last minute that are unavoidable and in these cases, I'm flexible and we can discuss it. 

Fees   Fees can be paid in any currency in advance.  Please go to  schedule of fees  for further information.  If at any point in our working together you anticipate not being able to sustain it's cost, please let me know and we can discuss possible options.

Insurance   I can provide you with a statement for your insurance company which you can submit to collect reimbursement.  Please be aware that if I give you a statement, confidentiality is breached and I can't be responsible for this information from becoming accessible to other individuals.

Contacting me   I check emails periodically throughout the day.  In most cases, I will reply within 24 hours.  I am not able to respond to psychological crises or emergencies.  If this is a concern for you, you may wish to consider working with a therapist in your geographical location.

Confidentiality   I respect your right to privacy regarding information you share with me and I am bound by a professional code of ethics.  I occasionally find it helpful to  consult with other professionals.  If I do, I will withhold any identifying information.
